The Senior Manager, Risk Oversight Reporting contributes to the overall success of the Enterprise Risk Management team at Tangerine, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Assist in the development, update, implementation, and communication of the Tangerine Enterprise Risk Appetite Framework (T-RAF) and ensure it is consistent with governing regulations, internal requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in the refresh of Risk Appetite Thresholds.
  • Assist in the annual update of the Tangerine Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework
  • Assist during key risk reporting cycles
  • Support on central activities such as annual planning, tracking, and following up on key deliverables
  • Coordinate various initiatives as needed in support of the Tangerine Enterprise Risk Management strategy and the broader organizational strategic priorities
  • Additional accountabilities as needed

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • 7-10 years experience in non-financial or enterprise risk management
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Proven track record in developing and executing risk management strategies in close collaboration with senior leadership
  • Strong understanding of risk frameworks, risk management, the Bank’s operations, and financial sector risks 
  • Superior communication skills with ability to write clearly and concisely 
  • Strong judicious thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills are required to manage multiple and concurrent projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Ability to work on complex projects independently, within tight deadlines, and adapt to changing deadlines and requirements.  
  • Experience working in a team environment; promoting good communication, objective thinking and cooperation  
  • Excellent social and relationship building skills and strong communication skills are essential to influence and collaborate effectively with others
