Purpose
 

Lead Strategic Sourcing and Category Management for assigned Categories/Business Units in Global Procurement Services, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Foster a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage Bank systems and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders to support enterprise objectives and influence key stakeholders.
  • Understand business drivers and provide required support levels.
  • Create business value through global/regional category strategies, focusing on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and leveraging Bank-wide purchasing volume.
  • Lead category sourcing and supplier management across the Bank’s segments, contributing to third-party management processes.
  • Execute sourcing initiatives, ensuring effective strategy development, market assessments, RFP processes, and supplier management.
  • Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers during major initiatives and ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Drive cost savings across business segments and ensure consistent procurement processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach staff to build a world-class organization.
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethics in all activities.
  • Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and culture in decision-making.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive sourcing/procurement experience.
  • CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) preferred.
  • Global sourcing/category management experience.
  • Preferred Languages: Spanish, and/or French.
  • Knowledge of Marketing and Communications Categories.
     

Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
