Global Wealth Management Technology portfolio remediation team works closely with multiple stakeholders to address foundational aspects of the Wealth portfolio, including but not limited to Software Currency, Cloud Migration and Vulnerability Management. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Senior Project Lead/Technical Navigator. The role acts as the link between the business, wealth development teams and the technical teams across the bank to make sure that the project teams deliver quality solutions that are optimized, secure, highly scalable, and flexible – all while maintaining a strong customer focus.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Establish priorities, standards, and strategies consistent with technology roadmap, business goals and economic viability.
- Work with project sponsor to help understand infrastructure needs, and technical constraints to establish the scope of the project and define and deliver complex features.
- Provide input to the continuous improvement of processes and adopting latest technologies and methodologies.
- Meet product owners, project sponsors, project stakeholders on a regular basis and help technical teams to identify, define, and specify solutions.
- Excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills to build and maintain strong supportive relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Engage with the engineering and design teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable implementation schedule to launch products on a regular basis.
- You enjoy challenges of working on different types of projects (from large complex to simple).
- You collaborate with various business functions to ensure Wealth Management Technology meets business needs.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and deployment processes, essential for managing the re-hosting and re-deployment of applications to public cloud environments like GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Kubernetes, to effectively manage and orchestrate micro-service deployments.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms, with a particular focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a deep understanding of its PaaS offerings to ensure smooth migration and operation of services.
- A solid experience in a software engineering and development role, experience with scalability issues and multi-tiered integration solutions
- Passionate about technology, maintains superior knowledge of emerging industry trends across multiple disciplines
- Show proven ability to deliver projects using Agile methodologies and lean approach techniques.
- Communicate proactively with all stakeholders to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions. and implement efficiency improvements.
- Thinks outside of the box and able to lead the teams to innovate
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects of varying complexity in a sophisticated matrix management organization.
- Good knowledge of wealth products and services
