To support the Client Profitability Model an online business banking pricing application used by corporate and commercial bankers to evaluate the profitability of prospective client lending scenarios with 1700+ active users.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Acts as Client Profitability Model (CPM) subject matter expert in cross-functional project teams and working groups supporting ongoing business line initiatives as required.
  • Provides expert advice and virtual training resources to business line users domestically and internationally to enhance, improve, and support the continued use of CPM throughout the bank.
  • Participates in the testing and promoting system enhancements in cooperation with the Global Technology Group.
  • Compiles and documents business requirements to support system solutions to address the regulatory capital group’s and business’s needs.
  • Develop and document methodologies and standardized practices across all Business Lines and products.  
  • Maintains CPM informational resources on Scotia Live and promptly communicates significant updates or system downtime to users.
  • Supports the ongoing administrative requirements for new and existing users.
  • Manages regular ongoing monthly and quarterly system updates.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Degree in Information Technology/Commerce/Finance or MBA.
  • Experience in business systems analysis at a financial institution would be an asset.
  • A background in preparing technical requirements documentation would be an asset.
  • Project Management experience would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of capital adequacy requirements, lending, capital markets, and other banking products would be an asset.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required.
