Introduction

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Sales Leader to help grow our Mid-Market and Partner Led territory for SAP implementations nationally. This role requires proven understanding of the SAP ecosystem, a track record of strong consulting sales experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As the SAP Consulting Services Account Executive, Mid-Market and Partner Led territory for the SAP Practice, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Mid-Market in Canada. Your role will involve engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting SAP solutions and services that address their challenges and goals.
Your role and responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach activities.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their business processes and pain points. Driving new business growth by generating net new business opportunities and acquiring new clients in new logos or new Lines of Business.
- Solution Presentation: Present SAP solutions to clients, articulating the value and benefits of our offerings tailored to the customer industry
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals and respond to RFPs and IBM led proposals that address client requirements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform business development strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and project delivery, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the sales cycle.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the SAP practice within IBM.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Experience in business development, go to market or sales within the SAP mid-market ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of SAP solutions and their application in the Mid-Market in any of the following industries: oil & gas, mining, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, retail and Public Sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on deals and working with cross-functional teams
- Industry Specialization would be a plus
