We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager – Process Optimization and Business Analysis Support to join our Global Finance Strategic Initiatives team. This leadership role will drive one of our top priorities in Global Finance: accelerating financial reporting timelines to the Board, CEO, and external stakeholders. The initiative aims to position our organization as best-in-class in Canada and align with the reporting standards of leading U.S. banking institutions. The successful candidate will lead efforts to streamline actuals close processes, enhance forecasting capabilities, and enable more agile decision-making across the enterprise.

 

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

  • Strategic Process Optimization
    Lead the identification and implementation of process improvements across global finance close and reporting cycles, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide transformation goals.
  • Cross-Functional Engagement
    Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Technology, and Business Units to map interdependencies, resolve bottlenecks, and drive consensus on process enhancements.
  • Project Governance & Execution
    Oversee project planning, milestone tracking, and issue resolution. Ensure timely delivery of key initiatives through effective governance and stakeholder management.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation
    Conduct advanced analytics on stakeholder feedback, survey results, and operational data to uncover trends, inform decision-making, and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Change Management & Communication
    Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption of new processes. Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to executive audiences with clarity and impact.
  • Risk & Compliance Alignment
    Ensure all process changes and operational decisions are aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite, regulatory obligations, and conduct standards.
  • Culture & Leadership
    Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that champions customer-centricity, continuous improvement, and collaboration across teams.

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with process documentation, change management processes, and interacting with technology personnel.
  • Tireless ‘Can Do’ attitude, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated proven experience in project support or a similar role.
  • Formidable organizational and multitasking skills, including ability to work independently and in group-oriented scenarios.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of programming languages is a asset.
  • Proven ability to analyze, assess and generate actionable insights within various scenarios.
  • First-rate knowledge of financial reporting processes and enterprise-wide data systems is required.
